I would check the camshaft end play. No more than .014 inch. If there is more than that the heads will need replacing.

It's not practical to line bore the cam towers on a modular head. If line boring is needed get a new head.

The piston and head combination naturally reduces PTV clearance. I would say that any increase in cam size that degree of the cam is a MUST. Plus I would be sure to consult the manufacturer to make sure they agree it will fit.
