What do you mean by runs rough?

A cam that big is going to have a lopey idle and will probably run kinda rough at lower RPM's.

no that not what im talking about being rough i know the engine is going to be rough running at low rpms but the damn thing wont stay running worth a damn it dies out at stops after a few secs i adavaced the timing a bit to help keep it running a little longer but it hard driving threw traffic and having to restart your car at stop lights i dont understand why it keep dying out it runs perfect going down the highway

Sounds like you've got something going on with your vacuum system. Do you have any vacuum leaks, is your VAM ok? I'm not really sure otherwise.

I never had any problems like that when I installed my cam. Are you sure the cam timing is correct?
