i want to swap out my cam. i dont know anything about cams, so this is where you guys come in. everything on my motor is stock. would a cam help at all, if so what size and maker would you recommend.i would like a good loping sound to it also. what i had in mind was a new cam, then bigger injectors and throttle body. also if i did change it, is it easier to pull the motor or can i remove the radiator and bring it out the grill opening. thanks for the help, you guys havent let me down so far.

Get an edelbrock Performer. Besides gears and heads, my edelbrock performer got me the most gain. You will love it.

I also like this idea.

An intake is a great motor mod when your stock and the nice thing about John's choice of intake is it will work pretty good with most street combos that you put together.

Headers. If you really want a cam the crane 2031 is great, you will have the lope and keep your low end torque.
definetly not headers, shorties wont do anything and longtubes/ new midpipe wont do enouph to even feel. Definetly get a new intake, that will help alot, drag radials if you dont already have them, or some suspension work

Your probably right but the headers will choke the motor sooner or later and I think for 600 dollars he could do both. On my car the exhaust was the best mod I have done, it brought my car to life.
