cam shaft bolts

I was just wondering what bolts i should use when installing the cam gear to the cam, i have pressed on right now so i need to go get the bolts. Im sorry if this has been discussed before but im really tired now and dont have the time to search. Any help is greatly appreciated.

get them from ford, and you have to get PI cam bolts.....

ARP makes cam bolts for out motors.. They are NOT torque to yield bolts so you can use them more than once..

cam bolts are NOT TTY...

the only TTY bolts in a 4.6 are the head, main, and rod bolts........

Huh..

The PI cam bolts are the same as the harmonic damper bolts (different washer though) and I thought the damper bolts were TTY....

yes, they are the same, but i never heard of them being tty, as so many people do cam swaps and use the same ones, i might be wrong though......

I thought they were, but I could be wrong also.. I doubt it will hurt anything to reuse the stock bolts..

I just replaced them all with ARP stuff..

the bolts for the chain tensioners are too if you read the FSM, well at least on AL blocks.
