Will I need to notch my stock pistons with an X303 cam and 1.6 RR's? (.542 lift)

What are your engine mods? X303 is a poor chioce for stock heads and intake (going off your sig.).

Typhoon intake and Strike Force Alum heads 1.6 exhaust valve 2.05 intake, 270 intake 170 exhaust, springs will hold up to .600 lift.

you are going to need the pistons notched or aftermarket pistons anyway with that big intake valve!!!

i wouldnt get the x303 personaly. I would look into comp cams, crane, TFS, ext

Whats the biggest intake valve you can run with 1991 stock piston? I see all sorts of aluminum heads that have 2.02 and 2.05 valves that are mad cheap. (sorry didnt mean to hi-jack ur thread but I was wondering the same thing)

Quite alright, I need to know the same answer. I wasnt planning on tearing apart my short block, but I guess I may have to.
