I've seen a few of these 5.0 cammed videos on youtube. Here's an example.

Curious if anyone on Stangnet has done this to their 2011+ 5.0 yet. If so how do you like it.

I looked into this for my v6. Its called a ghost cam tune and several companies were offering them but pulled them off the market at a request from Ford. I think Ford might be incorporating this tune into future mustangs..

Yea it's pulled from all companies except Jon Lund is the only person who can sell it now. His is through lethal performance I think. Ford uses it in the boss if I'm not mistaken

I ran one for a while and you can expect your gas mileage to be HORRIBLE. You'll get tired of it after a short period of time.

Good to know. With the current price of gas I wouldn't want it to be worse. How horrible was it?

Why would the mpg go down? The ghost cam is only at idle, where engine is using barley any fuel. On the highway the engine runs normal?

Guess i dont see why the comment for the horrible mpg. Id assume the bad MPG is due to your driving style. Maybe the extra power/sound was causing you to stand in it more often?

The ghost cam by itself is only sound. But it is only active at idle so I'm pretty sure it can be paired with a performance tune for the rest of the operating range.

The BAMA guys can provide a Ghost Cam Tune as well but it dumps a lot of fuel at idle and will screw up catalytic converters with raw fuel!!

Ghost Cam Tunes from BAMA are primarily for those with Off Road Pipes or no cats!!
