Cammed guys what u'r gas milage?

im lucky to get 230 miles to a tank of 13.8gal

thats alot of 1st gear hardly any gas taking it to 2500rpm and shifting to 4th

cams... 4.10's, bolt ons... PI

yea i think i get about 200 to the tank, but i drive it shifting at 3000 rmps in 1st 2nd and 3rd. how is it possible that you guys manage 27 mpg when they come made to get 18mpg city and 26 city? all highway driving?

Agreed. I got 20mpg on my last tank babying it and driving mostly highway. I'm gonna say check your math again to anyone getting over 23 mpg combined.

I get about 15-16 mpg in town. I have a short enough drive to work that if i just drive straight there and back the car never gets a chance to fully warm up. I imagine it'd be better if i had a little longer drive.

Same here, I get around 15MPG with 3.73 gearing.

Im not sure what everyones problem is . I get great milage...i drive my dads 00 V6 to work in place of my car while its down. And it gets VERY close to the same milage...I mean the V6 MAY MAY get a hair bit better on normal driving. Only reason is because my car eats up ALOT of gas when I go WOT....if I keep my foot out if it, I seems to get better milage. Its just rediculously close. NO reason to buy a V6 over a V8.

I clear the trip when I fill up, and look at it when I fill up the next time....and I have my reciept right with me too with the gas I just used to fill up. Im guessing you guys just dont know how to drive lol...thats the only think I can think of. These cars should get about the same milage if driven properly.

I get an average of 18 mpg with 4.10's. I do mostly highway driving. Yea I shoulda went 3.73s' i drive at 70 with the Rpm's at 2,750 It eats gas!
