cams and longtube question

Alright, Gonna have a nice check coming from the insurance company. My car is about to roll 88k, is this to many miles to consider cams? I watched a video and they sound really good with longtubes, offroadxpipe, and catback. What would be the best exhaust route to go with cams and how much would it all cost. REally wany slp lmII's. THankx

Yeah I'm there with you. want the cams, and a tune, but need to do the rearend first, need to finish all the other lil things too like better fuel pump window switch etc.

had to go make new sig hoping I get some bites on it. :)

I honestly am in love with my exhaust setup (see sig) although it may be a little too loud for some. O/r pipes sound like ass with lm1s from what I have heard though. To me there is no point in having an o/r pipe for the 2-3rwhp you might get unless you talk about price. I bought my exhaust from lmperformance so you can check there for pricing on that. I just bought my cams from vt last night for $595. I finally came to grips with the fact that i am not buying a supercharger.

Really the exhaust setup is all personal preference as far as sound. Straight through vs. chambered, x vs. h, catted or o/r, they all produce different sounds at varying levels of volume.
