can 91 heads off a 302 fit on my 289?

Can these fit on with no problems because my buddy is getting a new set of heads. And these are still good here. I know these have to flow more than my stock heads.

I think the coolant passages do not line up, but other than that, they will bolt on. A machine shop will have to do some work in order to get those passages to fit right though. I might be wrong.

I think the combustion chamber may be bigger than your 289 heads and thus lower your compression ratio... not sure how much though. I am sure someone would chime in on this.

i believe 289's have 58cc and newer have 63cc.

i don't think it is worth the swap.

also poush rods will be an issuse unless u go with roller rockers. the diffrence being how the rocker mounts to the head 91 being pedistol mount and the 289 being shaft mount. or visa versa ot real sure on technical terms.
