NikwoaC, i agree. I wouldn't buy the car b/c i had expressed desire to buy it, i would buy it b/c its a good deal and i can resell it.

the real thing that i need to make my decision now is more info on car 1. If the car has a clean title, and isn't too ragged out, then it is the better deal. I just don't know enough about it yet.

I need to see it in person, but won't be able to until probably Sunday...

I'd just get #1, seems like the logical thing to do. I like having some savings to fall back on but ultimately it's up to you. If you'd like to fix one up and will be OK with selling it then that's a viable option too.

I would keep the one you have. I would buy the one you really want. If you havent put money down on the 3rd one you do not have to buy it. So back out.

sound advice gents.

car 2 is out of the equation. the guy wants my 94 and cash for a high mileage, stock, salvage titled car. no dice!

I'll be sure to post up this weekend with the outcome of the whole mess.

Buy both, and if you sell your 94, you'll still have a backup car while your working on one. Backups are always nice. Salvage stangs ain't bad as long as they're put back right, but being a Cobra, I'd stay away like you are, it would definitely eat the collectibility up on that car. It would make for a nice race car (strip/street)since it's already been molested.

You guys are supposed to talk some sense into me! Not tell me to have 3 project cars in the driveway. Cobras or not, i can see myself getting in too deep here...

damn it. My dad is going to kill me.

no matter how old you get, your dad still has the power to tell you that you're an idiot.

maybe 3 is too many... but 2 is just right.

well I bought the 93 cobra today. (Car 3)

It needs seats, carpet, paint and some minor body work... and a new motor!

I'm thinking 393/408 with the vic jr heads i already have and an efi setup. and just make the body look slick and better than new. Maybe chrome the wheels.

I'm excited!

Now i just need to sell my 94 - but i may keep it.

As the title of the thread suggest, maybe 3 is too many... but 2 is just right.

What are the mods on car #1? Hows it look as far as getting that one as well? Good move on backing out on car #2, thats a crappy deal on your part.

I'm working on pics now!

car 1 has a 351 stroker with stage 3 canfield heads, tremec, nice fuel system and gauges. (Both cars) needed seats, carpet and paint.

The guy did get back to me, so I'm going to go look at it. But I may decide not to have 2 cars that I need to sell this summer.

Just get one Cobra, the one that's in the best condition of course, so you can focus on modifying one car instead of trying to stretch it to 3 cars.

you can see from one of them that the paint of top is fading bad. The seats are rough too and the trim and lights front and rear are faded... but over all I'm happy with a running and driving, non-wrecked 93 cobra for 5600!

Let the Project map-out begin!

P.S. The 94 is for sale! lol

Now go back to the guy that owns car no. 2 and tell him you just bought two for what he was asking for his salvage titled car, and see if he comes down.

nice, just stick to that one you bought, personally i wouldnt EVER buy a car with mods already in it. especially topped out like car 1. I love getting the new parts and putting it on myself. its kinda like bonding time with your car. you grow closer and closer with every mod. so if you buy the other cobra, sell it and keep the one you bought.
