Strangest scenario...
Alternator went bad on my 02 GT. Bought a new one from Ford. Next day, made loud noise like a bearing. Got another new one, installed it and 1000 miles later had the same loud noise. Got a 3rd alternator and after 30 miles it now is doing the same thing!!
This thing unbolts and bolts with 6 direct bolts, no adjustment screws at all!
So what is going on???
Guy at Ford said it could be out of alignment...Is that possible???
Please help because I'm certain they won't keep replacing them.....
