Whats up everyone I'm new around here, I drive a 88 5.0 hatch 5spd and got a few questions about a bad misfire I'm having right now So pretty much I bought this fox 3 months ago and it was running fine. I've done a lot already like new ford racing wires, msd blaster coil, CAI, new cap, rotor, plugs etc.... then about a month ago it started overheating on me bad and the radiator was leaking, so I replaced the water pump/radiator/ 180* thermostat/hoses and new aftermarket temp gauge. The temp is sometimes erratic usually staying around 160*-190* but sometimes jumps to 230* and then back down. Now my big problem is this misfire...it will studder and hesitate really bad on acceleration and then out of nowhere it will snap out of it and it drives fine for a few days or so I don't know whats going on and need help

Codes....time to run them and see if they offer up a starting place to check

Check your spark plugs. Change em actually.

Plugs have been changed twice already, and I'll have to run the codes soon. Seems like the car is o.k, in the past 3 days its driven fine with no problems

Did you bleed the cooling system when you replaced cooling system stuff? Could explain the weird temperatures
