Can Anyone Tell Me About My 99 Svt Mustang(cobra Roush?)

I recently bought a 99 mustang cobra. VIN checks out as real cobra. It looks too good to be true. One owner car and emaculate. It has roush all over it and the guy says he bought it like that as a package. I can't find anything about it and Roush tells me they didn't keep very good records before 2000. Very strange. I will post some pics.

I know a good bit about those motors being I had to rebuild one on my own to keep cost down so I did more research than necessary while I saved up money. So if you have questions about what is the difference between your motor and 03-04s I got you but is it a real roush kit? Dunno. Let me know if you are looking to make power though. Those things are kindof weak for how heavy they are. If you are wanting to keep value (which i would if it is a real one) put everything as stock as possable. Like stock air box and not your hot air intake.

Ive never seen a SVT roush with a bumper like that but im young.

Looks to me like a Stock 99 with a Body Kit and side exhaust. Not a true Roush but you can submit VIN to Roush to verify.

a agree with Jman. Because the car is a 99, via the non-smoked lights, and the front bumper did debut in that style until 02-03. I would say that it is a 99 cobra that had the Roush bodykit on it. Still, genuine or not, it is a beautiful machine.
