I have an 04 gt, 5speed, my performance mods are BBK CAI, BBK 75mm tb, Trick Flow upper intake plenum, March Pulleys, Bassani O/R x pipe, borla stinger catback, been dyno tuned with a diablosport delta chip, right now it puts out 260rwhp and 300rwtq, I want to add VT Stage 2 heads and Cams, BBK longtube headers, and Power Plus Typhoon intake manifold that i will port to match head intake ports. I want to at least make over 310rwhp, does anyone think that this will do it

Heads, cams, and LT's with a good tune should be acheiveable.
Personally if your staying NA. I wouldn't do an intake swap. From what I've read the average increase is 5rwhp, but how much weight do you add to the front of the car. Not to mention it is up high too.

I had a question about VT stage 1 Vs VT stage 2.

The price is the same, so im debating which one to get. My car is a Daily Driver and i heard that the stage 2 cam needs a stall since i have an auto. Is it really neccassary? And are long tubes really needed or just prefered? Cuz i dont wanna get any type of new exhaust manifolds.

I see your in Cali, will either pass your inspection?
I've heard some "get" through with stg1's but I've never heard of anyone passing with a stg2 cam. Hopefully a CA person will chime in.
Also remember the stg2 you have to do a valve spring swap. IF your doing it read up seems to be a PITA on the car. If your paying to have the work done get a quote. Seems most people's quotes I've seen posted are more than double to do a spring swap.

I would say that if you did heads/cams LT's and a good tune along with your existing mods that should put you right at 315rwhp, I highly doubt you will get any more out of it than that.

+1 On wait for the trickflow intake manifold to come out

As far as california emissions go yes you can pass with LT's as I had to smog my car not too long ago. Had to weld in cats first though... However no way your car will pass smog with stage II's, it will be fine at 2500rpms but it will fail at an idle.

Maza yes you will need a stall converter if you go with stage II's it would be pointless to do the swap without a converter and I would imagine you would have to go with 2500 stall speed...
