Was wondering if anyone had shots of their brake kits that came with their Saleen. I have seen different version of them and wanted to know which one is the real deal?

I know it is a Brembo System, calipers, rotors etc with Saleen emrossed letters, but is it white/speedlab yellow/red?

I have seen a 2-piston caliper system w/ red lettering coupled with a brembo rotors(slotted and vented & zinc washed)? Is this a true kit or a one-off?

Thanks.

00-Saleen’s Brembo brakes are the “real deal”. Saleen also sold a front set made by Alcon, also a black caliper with yellow lettering and slotted rotor. They do not use the two piston PBR (Cobra, Mach I, Bullit) caliper.

So basically Saleen only uses the Speedlab yellow for its lettering on the Calipers?

Does it use Stainless steel lines?

Ah yes,

From Saleen you have your choice of black cailpers with yellow writing, or black calipers with yellow writing.

Depending on what you were ordering, you had the black Brembos like on 00's car or these Alcons here.

I've got the Brembos on my fox Saleen. Best money you can spend for a great brake setup. Ford sells the exact same kit without the Saleen logo, it has the Brembo logo instead but identical calipers. I didn't order mine from Ford but got a great deal on them through a guy in FLA. I'm tossing around the idea of putting the Saleen logo on them. It won't take much to do. I just haven't decided whether to leave them as they are or do the Saleen logo change.

I bought similar ones from DiskbrakesRus, they will make a set in any color with the Saleen logo. I'm guessing he had them done in red with the logo. I sold the ones I had (black with yellow logo) to a friend in SC for his 2001 S/C Saleen. They are the same calipers as Cobra calipers but not with the Cobra logo as you can see.

Maybe They're 13" and I could choose between Cobra or Saleen marking on the caliper

No, those look like the standard PBR caliper Cobra front brakes. The Cobra R Brembo brake kit is used by Saleen as an option (or you can step up to the Saleen/Alcon brakes for big $$)
