CAN I UPGRADE MY MACH 460 SPEAKERS

... has anyone upgraded there front and rear speakers in there mach 460 system and if so what size are the door speakers and the rear deck speakers ???

I think they are 6x8 all around, and you can get different sizes to fit with adapter plates bc that size seems to be pretty limited on choices. I do not have the 460 but im pretty sure the speaker sizes were the same anyway. Check out crutchfield.com and you will know for sure.

Np man, ive been eyeing some 5 1/4 Kenwoods on there I want to put in the doors.

Yes you can. I redid the entire audio system, Infinity Kappas 6x8's under the rear deck were a drop-in fit and I put Infinity Kappay 6.5" rounds in the doors with a custom adapter plate I made out of PVC. I also put Kappa tweeters in place of the stockers. Sounds incredible especially with the sub and 4-channel amp. Are you keeping the stock head unit or upgrading?

If you want your factory Mach460 amps to power the aftermarket speakers, they have to be 3ohm, which is a weird and rare impedance. Here's a useful site for Mach system information. http://www.flemworld.com/Mach460/Mach.html

The factory speakers are 8 ohm.
