Can I use linked roller lifters with an FTI cam? Cam specs are: 224/228 Duration at .050 .536/.528 Lift 110* LSA ..Right now I am using the stock lifters and I have heard the lifter dog bones are weak so I want to upgrade and wondering if I can use the linked roller lifters? WHats a good brand of linked roller lifters? Also are they pretty quiet? Also will changing to the linked lifters change my pushrod length?

I used the stock links and just put new lifters in, works fine so far.

I just don't want to take a chance of them breaking and causing damage to my new engine

This seems like a really good question for FTI...

The answer is, that it depends on your application.

I'm not going to pretend I know enough to answer this.

It isn't the dogbones that are weak, it's the stock lifters...

if the cam and type of lifters are the same then yes

for example hydro roller cam, hydro roller lifters your cool


hydro flat tapet cam, hydro roller lifters not cool
