My car is a 95 cobra and i was wondering if i could use this "Baer Brakes Front Track System 4261007"

says its for gt's but i wouldnt see a problem since they r 13inch rotors and that they also come with the calipers...

also can this be used on a Daily Driver, does say track system so im not sure...

thanks for any help

That kit? That uses the same PBR calipers that all 94-04 Cobras, 03-04 Mach 1s, and 01 Bullitts used. In other words, that's basically what you have stock on your 95 Cobra right now.

yeah why not just upgrade your current ones with better rotors, SS lines and some like EBC red stuff pads.

Unless your gonna go bigger 14+ or 4+ pistons its not worth changing those calipers.

And for a daily driver its not worth the money spend your money on something else.

As for rotors, I've never seen any hard data to prove that drilled and/or slotted rotors have any benefits. Unless you want them for looks, then just get some Brembo blanks from Tirerack. They are cheap and work good. $62 a piece for the fronts last time I checked. Just my 2 cents.

The only thing I have heard about slotted/drilled rotors is that when they are cold, they don't grip as good. Once they warm up they're alright.

I'd say you couldn't go wrong with Brembo's or Power Slots. Buddy had Power Slots on his Cobra and he liked them.

i had cross drilled rotors on the fron and after about a year they started to get little cracks coming off of the drilled holes..now i just use slotted rotors..they work fine..
