Can I vent?

Well, life sucks sometimes. As you guys know I hade a nice ( to me anyway) 96 GT a while back and ended up selling it to pay off some bills and avoid fixing the heater core. Well a year or more later I am happily married but still have that huge void of missing my sn95 :( I am sure you would all feel the same if you parted ways with yours and are a true die hard Mustang fan. So buy a new one, most of you would say. Well I would but, I had this great idea that joining the Air Force would be a great move for the wife and I. And even thought it's been really hard (months apart from each other and now 5,000 miles from home) as my job as a F-16 maintainer is tuff and so is the life style. So of all places to be I got sent to Alaska. Yeah. Only Mustang for sale here are v6 of brand new. No market for used at all. I nearly dry humped a 01 GT on the lot when I saw it. Thats not the bad part. It was white with PINK gt stripes and interior parts had been painted white on the tan interior and was auto! Thats how desp I am!

So I get online and found a ton of course but would cost almost 2 grand to ship. That doesn't bother me, it's worth it! Problem is I have ONE credit card on my credit report that I got behind on and the account went missing for 2 years. I go to get a loan and it magically shows back up at 2 grand! My wife has great credit but we jsut bought an 03 explorer before we left home and so with her on the loan by her self if she tried to get one would not fly because of a income to debt ratio problem.

Well, only 24 years old and pitching a fit about a car. That sounds more like an addiction huh? Guess it will be a long while before I get another:( Till then I will hang around with you guys and drool ...pray I am back in the action soon....

Thanks for listening:flag: :SNSign:

Good things come to those who wait. :) I sold my '93 GT back in '02 and after 2 years I got the itch again to own a Mustang. I knew it was gonna be a Mach 1. I sold my '00 Ford F-150 plus took a bunch of cash out of my savings and bought my Mach 1 in cash. Yeah, it sucks when your Jones-ing for a Mustang but have to play the waiting game. One day. :nice:

I agree. good things will come if you wait. I know it's easier to say than do actually do, but give it time, and don't rush into buying a car that you are just settling for to fufill your "addiction" :D
