I had to replace my pre cat o2 sensors on my 24 gt. I bought boschs(sp?) from auto zone. Will they do the same job as the factory ones do with out hurting the motor and how it runs, lean/rich?

O2 sensors are feedback devices. The PCM operates within a limited range of rich and lean meaning, if the sensor is somehow bad and is indicating lean or rich and the PCM is responding to adjust the closed loop fuel, and if the sensor continues to show the condition the PCM will eventually give up and ignore the sensor, simultaneously illuminating the MIL to tell you something is goofy. The open-loop fuel maps will be safe. It has to be tolerant of inoperative, missing, shorted or open or otherwise baffed sensors...

The engine will be fine and Bosch are a good name.

Are you refering to the pre cat or post cat o2 sensors?

The A/F feedback sensors are the pre-cat ones. The post-cat sensors are there only for the PCM to determine the effectiveness of the catalysts themselves. The post-cat sensors are purely for emissions monitoring and have no effect on fuel delivery.
