I found this formula to calculate needed injector size on FTI's website, and I know what everything is except for "Brake Specific Fuel Consumption". Can somebody explain that one to me? Thanks
-Chris
IHP / NIJ X BSFC / IDC
IHP = Ideal Horsepower
NIJ = Number of Ijectors Used
IDC = Injector Duty Cycle
BSFC = Brake Specific Fuel Consumption
Example:
300 HP / 8 cylinders = 37.5
37.5 X .50 BSFC = 18.75
18.75 / .80 Duty Cycle = 23.43 lb/hr injector (24 lb/hr is the closest)

It was an impulse thread. lol
I don't do a sig because it would be long. Then you guys would get sick of seeing my posts because of the long scrolling.
