Found a nice 2001 Mustang GT for $12000 with 118 000 km's on it. I would like to have a carfax before I buy to see if there is any leens on the car.

Yeah it is alot of money-- too much because You can find an 05-06 GT here for around 19000 ... I think I'll buy a cheap winter beater and put the money into my fox

yea dude, u can do better, i got my 00 GT for 6600 a year ago and it had 59k miles. Given that was a really good deal, but you would be surprised what you can find if you wait a little.
