I need some help. I need a measurement of the nut insert holes in the frame where the power steering ram attaches to the frame. If your car has power steering or a damper installed then the inserts will be installed already. I need a measurement from a car that doesn't have any inserts installed in the frame. The width of the flats on the hex are what I need. I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

if you are looking to install power steering in your car, the inserts and bolts are available from autokrafters and virginia classic mustang, as well as NPD.

I need to do a hardware comparison so I need the actual dimension. It should be between .465 and .50 inches across the flats.

Those are stamped for a standard 3/8" rivnut with the hex sides. Just get 2 of those and you are good to go.
