So my car doesnt have an OBD1 plug.. It looks like it may have broke and the last owner just let the wires hang. I got 2 plugs from the junk yard, one with 5 wires going into it and one with 4 wires going into it. Neither match the wires I have, I can only find 3 loose wires in my engine bay where the OBD1 should be.

Can someone post a picture of the plug and wires so I can see where each color goes to?

Thank you very much.

Your OBD1 plug should have one 6 pin connector and one 1 pin connector. Lemme see if I can upload a pic...

Sorry but the internet on my phone has been down for 3 days. No can do. What year is your mustang? I might have a wiring diagram for it at the shop.

I know for a fact that I have the wiring diagram for an 87. I'll be going out there in about two hours. I'll grab it when I'm there.
