Can someone tell me what are this part and wires for?

So under the hood comes this small box (pic # 1) near the fuse box + many thick wires attached to the fuse box and the battery and goes to the trunk (as show if pic # 2)
The trunk carpet is cut in square and some holes was drilled. I don't know what was installed on the car maybe a nitrous or a sound system.
Please have a look at the photos and tell me what are those for.

@ more pics for the wires near the fuse box and the carpet cut in the trunk.

GT 2005 Automatic. It was shipped from usa to lebanon, ford company didnt bring stangs untill 2010.

That looks like its been added after the car is built. Ford generally does not use those type of wiring splices.

I also think that is aftermarket. Maybe looks like a box for HID headlights or something to control lighting for something. Try to take it off and look for a ford stamp or a ford part number on it. Almost every ford part have a number or logo or both

Judging by the info on the box in the first pic, and the fact that it goes to the trunk, I'm guessing it is some kind of sequential taillight kit. Doesn't look HID, talks about modifying the flash of a light and to NOT USE it on 3rd brakelight. 2005-09 didn't have those factory, and I think the first kits were crude.

Or seeing as it's Lebanon, it could be a WMD!

It's a GPS tracking device, using the wires to the trunk as an antenna. The box is the transmitter.
