want to make some colored decals to fit in the letters. My car will not be delivered until after the winter and I have a company willing to do it for free if I can get the pencil rubbing.

That sounds like a great idea, make sure you post pics when it's done.
I am sure if you go back to the the Dealership that you ordered your car from and tell them what want to do they will let you take a rubbing from a car they have there.
