Can we send our computers anywhere to get them tuned?

I know with the LT1's and LS1's you can send in your computer and they can teak it. I was just wondering if anyone does anything like that for our cars.

Thanks

Hey, asswipe, this forum isn't called LT1net.com.

:chair:

Just kidding. :stupid:

The tuning stuff is a lot bigger game on the camaro forums, for instance. Those guys have TONS of options for what to use, even OBD-I.

For us, TwEECer, PMS, EEC tuner, and a chip are the big ways to tune that I can think of. I dont recall many guys sending their puters off for reflashing, like the Bowtie folks do.

Good luck.

The computer in the Fox Mustangs doesn't really control a hole heck of a lot. The only thing it will tune is the A/F curve. Save your money for a couple pulls on a dyno...

thats what I needed to know, thanks guys. I am going to go to the dyno tomorrow and make two runs. For an additional 35 bucks I can get my a/f and timing curves checked. Not bad for 90 bucks... but it will cost more than that to drive an hour there and back with gas how it is :)

p.s. I will give you guys my a/f curve and dyno numbers so you can see if anything looks fishy. Thanks
