Can we send our computers anywhere to get them tuned?

I know with the LT1's and LS1's you can send in your computer and they can teak it. I was just wondering if anyone does anything like that for our cars.

Thanks

It is better to have it dyno tuned on the car so you can set the air fuel mix and ajusted to your mods.

Most folks either do as above or use a handheld tuner.

Good luck.

The tuning stuff is a lot bigger game on the camaro forums, for instance. Those guys have TONS of options for what to use, even OBD-I.

For us, TwEECer, PMS, EEC tuner, and a chip are the big ways to tune that I can think of. I dont recall many guys sending their puters off for reflashing, like the Bowtie folks do.

Good luck.

The computer in the Fox Mustangs doesn't really control a hole heck of a lot. The only thing it will tune is the A/F curve. Save your money for a couple pulls on a dyno...

thats what I needed to know, thanks guys. I am going to go to the dyno tomorrow and make two runs. For an additional 35 bucks I can get my a/f and timing curves checked. Not bad for 90 bucks... but it will cost more than that to drive an hour there and back with gas how it is

p.s. I will give you guys my a/f curve and dyno numbers so you can see if anything looks fishy. Thanks
