whell, here is what i have found this week. Last week i went to the track, and ran a 14.2, and a 14.3, both times missed a gear hard, and took a while to get it back into gear.
Now, at this point i Think somehow my egr valve sensor had the hack tape come off and tripped my CE light, which i dident see due to my white face gauges and bright sunlight.
I proceededd to make my 3rd run down the track, hit all the gears, and i achived a 14.4. plus the car was pinging like a toyota truck.
This week my car has been really slow, but i daily drive it, so i really dont get on it TOO much, but for some reason it felt slow, and i attributed it to heat.
I raced my brother on the highway with his 87' turbo supra, and i could barely pull on it....i was pissed....he laughed that his car cost 1,200.
SO, at coffee break on friday, i noticed my CE light was on, so i found the egr sensor was untaped, and fixed it (taped it half way in).
Now my car feels WAY WAY stronger.....like alot of power added, seems i got used to it being slow....But am i crazy? does the computer go into a "limp" mode?
