Yeah get used to it. I've changed mine 3 times since I've had my car and it has never stopped leaking.

Yea they suck. Mine leaks just a bit, but doesn't drip, so I just left it alone when I did my clutch swap. I figured if I replaced it then it would just leak worse. When I see the first drip I will then replace it.

Where'd you get the seal from???? I got the FMS gasket kit and uded the one in there....been leak free....lucked out i guess....
Its actually pissing outta there....Damn...

It's really common for the new seals to leak, I can't tell you how many times I've heard that story. My Fel-Pro leaks, not super bad but enough to wet down the back of the oil pan and the bellhousing.

Whenever someone asks if they should replace that seal when they do their clutch, my answer is "hell no, unless it's already leaking..."

When you replace a one piece rear seal you should pack the back side with grease. Just enough to keep the spring from popping out. I can't count the number of seals I have replaced with the spring knocked off. You should also put a little grease on the crank so you don't pinch the rubber.

i heard that if you use a Rear Main Seal off a 4.6 it works better...but check with someone else first, a friend told me that's what he did on his and hasn't had a problem since....but i could have heard him worng

yes do what he said. i've heard of cars needing things called speedy sleeves. they go over the crank so the seal fits tighter and it's supposed to prevent new seals from leaking. i've never put a speedy sleeve on though, but i've heard they're a bitch to install.
