Can you mount Fuel Pressure gauge on the return line?

This might be a dumb question but....

Is it possible to mount a fuel pressure gauge on the return line back to the tank?

I know the schrader valve is on the pressure line...but would the gauge read funny on the return line?

No it's low pressure and meaningless.

You can as long as its before the regulator (depends on if u using stock fuel rails etc) I have my fuel sytem set up with edelbrock rails so i have my regulator and fp guage mounted up by where the stock air box would of been. So yes you can if ur not using the stock set up and are able to get the guage before the regulator.

I think what Squeak93 was saying is with aftermarket fuel rails you have a line coming from the fuel rails (pressure side) into the regulator that is mounted say on the fender. Then it leaves the regulator and goes back to the tank. As long as the gauge is inline before the fuel ever enters the regulator then it is fine......

which really doesn't give you a straight answer because the return line is after the regulator. see what i mean?

i was just clarifying that you cannot mount it in the return line.
