Can you please help me with this part in my valvecover swap?

First this is a very beautiful car dman and it was the first picture i could use with the part still intacted that i needed so sorry.. When i purchased my new valvecovers the hole that the oil filler attaches to will be on the back side of my engine and im wondering if this parted can just be caped of or can i rig it it seems its a tube that goes from the top of the oil filler to the TB
