So I go to get my car aligned and my new (4) tires mounted and balanced.

Well, I lowered my car with H&R SS springs and installed MM CC plates. The guy says there isn't enough allowance in these for him to get it in specs? Anybody else have this problem? He recommended I make slits in my strut tower so he could have more room to move it.

Then I get my tires mounted and balanced. Man it's amazing how TERRIBLE it feels. After 40 I get a bad vibration and at 75 it felt like my damn car is falling apart. So I'm guessing he didn't balance them correctly. He used stick on wheel weights but put them on the outer edge of the rim rather than the middle where they were before. Man this is frustrating! Anybody else have these problems after lowering?

Interesting they didnt have enough range on the camber plates. I had plenty of adjustment on my mustang with MM coilovers front and rear no matter how far i lowered it. Did you orient the plates correctly, ie they have positive and negative.

Wheel weights are supposed to be closest to the bead as possible for an accurate balance. What kind of tyres did you have put on and are the wheels factory?

Yes! Take it to a different shop. I had that problem with my foxbody. The idiot said it can't be aligned and another shop said it was a peice of cake.

Yeah I put the plates on correctly. He kept asking me if they made something else to for the kit and I was like "What else would they make?" and he asked if it there was an "add on" I could purchase. Then he goes on to tell me how great of a kit it is and high quality. He didn't even touch my caster.

I got Nankangs 255/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rear. Fronts mounted on 18x9 Bullitts and rear on 18x10 DD Bullitts. She's doing DD duty right now and I got a great deal on the tires. Not to mention, everybody gave them good reviews that I read.

I have at LEAST 10 wheel weights in a straight line on one tire and 2 on the other side. The guy who balanced it seemed to be having a ton of trouble. I hope they can fix it tomorrow. I've been fuming for 2 days.

I called the shop and the manager said for me to check my lug nuts. (which was the first thing I did anyways) and that he would see me back on Wednesday and they'd get the vibration out. He said his machine may not be "balanced" correctly so he's going to throw it on his "25 thousand dollar Road Force machine."

Bad part is the shops like Just Tires and Merchants all want $130.00 + to align and $30 per tire to mount and balance.

Check this update lol

They re balanced them. They were ALL off. The tech ended up stripping a wheel stud in the hub with the impact (which I asked them to not use) and they ended up having to replace my entire front passenger side hub.

Good news is the vibration is gone (other than the little bit that has always been there)
