can't figure out why i hear an exhaust leak.....

i got my egr delete plate and nut (that caps off the headers) yesterday...i put them on and started driving...after about 5 miles i noticed what sound like and exhaust leak everytime i took off....i figured it was my headers that were loose so this morning i went to tighten the bolts and all were still tight...i had to plug one vacuum line last night when i deleted the egr....any suggestions???

Check the bolts at the ball and socket connections, did you get the gears in yet?

not yet....been kind of busy with this new job...next weekend though i'm gonna take the motor down to install my cam(since i have a work truck to drive now ) after that though then i'm doing the gears....

turn car on and feel around your headers feel for a slight tapping( exhuast leaking).Watch out theyre hot.

When the hood is up, rev motor, is it loud or quiet? listen on both sides.

ok....i looked around again after i let it cool down then started it back up...i leaned way over the motor trying to feel for the slightest air flow and looking for little vacuum lines...guess what i found on the back of the intake....the pvc line was unplugged(out of the hole)....
