2 questions:

Well, I finally got my drivers-side door switch in, and did the old "lock the door, lift up on drivers-side door handle, and check to see if dome light turns on" test.
It does in fact turn on, so it makes me think that I've got keyless entry...however, I can't find the module.
Someone said that I should check inside the trunk under the "carpeting" by the rear lights, and also check by the drivers' feet. But I have not seen it.
1) Where could it be, if I even have one? If I had some wiring diagrams, I could trace the wires...

2) after a while, the dome light shuts off (like I've heard it should), and will turn on with a "door open" or "handle lift". However, if I leave the car for a while (like overnight) and come back to it, the light will not turn on again until I either turn the headlights on, or turn the key to the on position. Any ideas?

Thanks.

The module is just behind and above the rear driver side wheel well. You'll have to pull back the trunk liner on that side to see it.

ok, so since after a thorough search, I coudn't find any pictures of where it was, and it's a bit hidden...I decided to attach a picture of where the keyless entry module is, and what it looks like...so here it goes..

you've also got to be smarter than the dang plastic bolt that attaches the plastic mount, so here's a picture of it to help you out.

I want to be able to remove those pictures from "my attachments" but I think they're quite useful for the next person that can't figure it out...does "inlining" the pictures, like i've seen on other threads, save them perminantly?

NM, okay, I see how everyone is doing it, they're off-site images...I'll have to set them up somewhere...

BUT, still have problems with the dome light issue...
