Can't Get Dome Lights To Come On Nor The Map Light... 1991 Gt

Can't get my Dome Lights or my Map Light to come back on after replacing my headliner...

I am pretty sure they died prior to removing the headliner... Wiring to the dome lights runs through the dimmer switch right?

What test is to be run ...
1. Dimmer works on dash lights
2. Dimmer works to turn on interior lights
3. Dimmer should turn on hatch light AND dome...

If Dimmer doesn't turn on Dome, or Map Light by windshield - BUT still dims dash lights it can still be busted?
Check to be sure Fuses are good - but should be power windows are good.

Ideas?

Figured it out... while securing the longer screws on the map light in the front I had shorted the light by touching the screwdriver to the metallic light housing.

Replaced Fuse #8 and GTG.
