CAN'T GET IT OFF

headlight switch cant get it off help fast!!!!

ANYONE know how it get the nob to turn the headlights on and off, off? replacing the bezzel.

Turn the lights on and then rotate the knob until you see the slit. In the slit you will see a metal piece. Insert a small screwdriver in there and pull on the metal piece. The knob will then pop off. It is kinda tricky, just take your time.

exactly what he said, and actually, you might want to disconect your batt. just to make sure you don't take too long with it all or mess something up. I'd check the actual light switch module too, they tend to go bad sometiems.

Taking that knob off for the first time will make you curse your mom. I finally got tired of mine and just broke the plastic to get it off. This just gave me a good excuse to get a polished aluminum one!

the first time i took it off i looked up the Haynes way to do it and got it off in about 15 seconds. Now it takes about 4 seconds. Haynes = Car Bible

well i did get it off it really doesnt look the same how much is a new nob?

i think in the ballpark of 20 bones. are you looking for a stock replacement or billet? i have a stock replacement for you if you need it.

Ive found that using a nail and bending the tip of the sharp end at a 90 degree angle fits in that little slot perfectly and works wonders.
