Cant line up rear leaf spring!!!

When you have it disconnected so, the shackle can "swing" back and forth. The problem may be with how you have supported the rear end. I bet it made the shackle swing all the way forward or back. Bind on the bushings is making it resist you trying to return everything to position. You should be able to just loosen the shackle bolts so it moves freely then push everything to where your bolt holes line up. I don't think your sway should effect this situation too much, but if so you might have to loosen it too.
