Can't start car with key!

I can only start my car from the solenoid with a screwdriver. It is starting to get anoying. I havn't really tried fixing it yet; I would just like to know where to start looking.

the solenoid is where i would start..prolly a bad solenoid if not then i would check the neutral safety switch.then lastly check the switch itself...

for approx. $11 i would replace the solenoid and see if that fixes it thats more likely whats wrong with it....heres a link to buy the part. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?parttype=421&searchfor=Starter+Relay&ptset=A

How are you jumping the solenoid? If touching the S-terminal wire to the battery lug, the solenoid should be okay. Check the clutch safety switch for 12 volts in and out during cranking. If 12 volts in, but no 12 volts out, adjust or replace the switch. If you don't have 12 volts in, check the ignition switch.
