Hello again. In case everyone hadn't noticed by the mass amounts of posts lately I'm getting close to installing my new engine and putting the car on the road for the summer.

Has anyone with our year of car running a canton 7 qrt. pan out there? I heard from an egine builder the other day you need to trim the k member to make it fit. I thought that sounded kinda dumb so I thought I would ask before I go to install it.

Also how is the clearance on a 5 spd. car with long tubes?

thanks again as always

Is the canton pan a kick out style or the deep style sump. I have the moroso 7 quart deep sump oil pan and it fit perfect with my tubular k-member. If you have to trim the k-member I would buy a different oil pan.

Is your k-member tubular.

no tubular k member yet, but I might just say screw it and buy one as well as coil overs front and rear before I'm back together this year.

It's a kick out style Canton

In the other responses they have the 7quart oil pans, but they don't say if they are the kick out style. It sucks to install that oil pan and it does not fit, or you have to modify the stock k-member. So if you can respond with what style oil pan you have. Kick out or not.

I need to change out my oil pan to the kick out style because it hangs way to low.
