car acting stupid

i got a 5.0 speed density car car runs perfect till you drive it for a few miles. After you drive it few a spell it just goes stupid and starts missing or what sounds like a miss. Any idles on what it is? thanks for any help you can give on this.

could be a billion things...likely is the tfi module on the side of the distributor...engine heating it up and it goes bad
