Quite the complimentary article in the latest Car and Driver on the convertible GT. Great rigidity and the fastest GT they have tested to boot.

Yeah I enjoyed the article, and im in love with the Stang convertible Just need to know some about safety which C&D didnt talk about! (See my other post on this board!) Thast weird that they got better accelleration numbers. Im sure it just has to do with differences in testing conditions/testing unit, but it makes you question the numbers they get for everything else. Still, a CONVERTIBLE that is almost as solid as the coupe, looks just as good wtih the top down, does around 5 seconds to 60, and handles basically as well with the only downside being an extra $5k makes for an amazing car. Could blow away a Z roadster, S2K, boxster s, audi tt roadster, and many other hot cars, and it has a backseat thats good for 2 people who don't have any legs! (or for your **** ) While the GTO is faster than the stang coupe, you cant get a GTO convertbile!

that article put a big smile on my face...its rare to see an article anywhere that gives ford so much praise...i like how they said they couldnt bring themselves to give the car back

By the way; I know where there is a new redfire gt vert available in GA. It was ordered for me, but I'm going to pass because I have another one coming. Just want to see it go to a good home.
