Ok here is the problem from a dead stop someting to do with the way i let out the clutch some times the car will buck . I cant power through it .I basically have got to dump the clutch into 2nd gear to make it stop . Any ideas ??? If I take it to the dealership they will say can not duplicate . In the sixteen years I have owned stick never had this problem. Thanks for any insight.

This usually happens to me when I wear larger shoes and can't feel the pedal as well. You basically just have to be very gentle with it to get it to go smooth, but usually it is easier just to put it into second and go.

Is it possible that when you are shifting into the gear you are going too slow for that gear? If the RPM's are real low, it could cause it to buck. Try letting it shift at slightly higher RPM's if thats the case.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago and was wondering what the deal was...however, it just stopped on it's own after a few days and about the same time I filled up the tank again so I'm thinking it might have been a bad tank of gas...knock on wood, hasn't happened again.

I have also experienced this issue when the car is very cold, only two options have worked for me. 1. push in the cluch, stop the car wait about 15 seconds and start driving with car running. 2. Give the car a little more warm up time.
