Running into a bit of an issue. Purchased an 01 GT for a solid price but it had previous work done to it which has put me in a position. He had it Pro Charged prior to selling it to me and took it off and also had the computer chipped at an actual Dyno Place locally. I took it to the guy and he wants to re-tune it for $300. I can buy a handheld Bama Tuner or SCT for almost that price. But i was told from the kid I bought the car from that it will not even run with these 24lb Injectors it has on it without that chip or it'll run like garbage. Also running rich and pulling 2 codes due to this. I'm kind of stuck on what to do? Buy stock injectors and pull the chip out and buy a handheld tuner? I don't plan on putting a Blower on it or doing anything besides Bolt-On and appearance.This guy knows his stuff but I really don't wanna pay what he's asking and continue to as I upgrade. Also I have an O/R X and that is probably pulling a code as well. Word of advice?
