We got 11 cars through the first round, one more than all other teams combined, but the second round was a disaster as we won only 3 races. I was one of the losers and left afterward. The LS1 site is not buzzing so I presume they didn't shine either. Weather was good. There were some personal bests. Bob in the Shelby got into the 10's at 129 mph. See my sig. (mph didn't go up as I am on the rev limiter 100 ft before finish line) Not many stoppages to slow things down. Bremie gave us three practice passes before elims. We could've used you, EJ.
Well maybe Kent stuck around and will chime in on how it ended up. Who all was still in when you left did you happen to see? And man, 10.77 is cookin. You really have a talent for wringing out your combos. I wish I could have been there, trust me. This class thing isnt much fun but I gotta do it. Im still trying to find out if I will be able to ditch for the July 12th race.
Nice to see you at the track and witness your new PB john. I had a great time. nice dial in the first round btw. I'll be racing with you guys for sure(once the stang is done)
Sorry I didn't follow your advice and keep up with my horrendous R/T after my first practice run even though I did race a ford in the first round of elims. I jumped the gun in the 2nd round though with a pretty hefty redlight. Oh well...
