I think we had only 5 or 6 cars in attendance. Sorry to hear about your T5. That weak link is clearly the Achilles Heel of our cars. The Camaro guys have to get new rearends at the cost of 2k, so it could be worse. Tyler, did you run any good times before leaving? Everyone seemed to be a bit slower.
It was a personal best as far as bracket racing for me, but that just doesn't give the same satisfaction of running a personal best time. I lost in the semis to O'Keef. I think the CCC is being stolen by racecars. I see more-and-more dedicated, trailered, racecars in line each time. That's not what the CCC is supposed to be about.
I was happy to see I ended up getting 4 runs in, for being my first time ever racing on the strip and ever launching this car, I didn't do too bad, especially with the high heat weather. Just need to work on a few things and I'll get the times I'm looking for. Seemed like every run I did something improved and something got worse.
lol, it was o.k. I suppose, I got eliminated thanks to missed shift, then I had to wait 3 hrs befor my next run, lost all my momentum for working better times. Those damn radial guys got to run soo many times. I don't think I'm gonna bother anymore if thats how its gonna be... well, at least untill I get dr's.

By "those damn radial guys" are you referring to the cars with racing tires (slicks)? They always get more passes. Don't fight 'em, join 'em. Get some ET Streets and run with those guys. I run with them using drag radials which I am not supposed to do, but I get away with it. Maybe because I run 11's.
