The Ford Drag Team is in 2nd place to the F-body team by a mere 8 points. We are closing in and need as many participants as we can get. If you have been wanting to get your car to the track this would be a great day for it is also the All Ford Drags.

I wish I had my car together. If I end up working up there again, I will definitely be a regular.

I am also interested, and would like a bit more information on what is required (from participants, not just the basics from the website)

Well by looking at your mods your probably going to need a Snell 2000 or newer helmet(required for cars running 13s or quicker). That should be about it. Also in Car Club you must run DOT tires, no full slicks are allowed.

Like I told NWapache, you should just need a helmet. You do need to go to the CCC tent once you get in and give them the $5 for the yearly membership and get your number if you havent raced CCC yet this year.

Anyone have a spare helmet that I could borrow (if i need one)? I dont plan on racing very much, so it would'nt be worth my money to purchase one (yet). Or do they rent them there?

Go to a bike shop, buy a SNELL rated HJC.

80-150 for a pretty nice helmet while still being affordable.

Things considered like sweat, borrowing helmets usually doesn't happen that often.

Look inside it, if the Snell rating is 2000 or newer it should be fine.

Just got home to the funky sound of a busted bolt somewhere in my front suspension.....am taking the car apart now to try and figure out what broke.....*no airtools though, can't piss off the neighbors* wish me luck, i got 6 hours to pull it, find it, fix it, and put it back together. If you don't see a flame red "02 GT at the park and ride at 630am sharp....I didn't make it.
