Car Club this Friday at Pacific Raceway (Kent, WA)

Gates open at 4PM. We usually gather to the right, just past the gas pumps and the fence. Look for a bunch of Fords on your immediate right in the grassy area. The Ford Drag Team is in second place right now, so all entries are needed.

Ya, we are waiting on the C4 to be completed, had to shave some aluminum off the Tran's oil pan so the SFI bell housing would fit. Also when they took it apart the 2nd gear clutch band (I beleive that's what its called) was completely worn to the rivets, if I would have went much farther with it I would have killed the tranny, so that didnt make me too happy either

Crappy night for me!!!

Well my new convertor, seems to be slippin way to much, the 2nd pass, I had no working water pump, can you say 250 deg, the third pass it blew the tires off, and the 4th pass it blew the tires off, put tranny fluid down from god knows where and it went 157mph at 9.80. I guess saturday morning I'll be pulling the tranny to get it ready for Saturday night!!! Yea and the tranny fluid smells like rotten egg's, it got hot too!!! Did the rest of the ford race team do good?

The Ford Team outnumbered the other teams but the last of us were eliminated in the quarter finals (after winning two rounds). We all cut terrible lights in that round.
