for all of you who use car covers on their cobras/mustangs, what brands-fabrics-etc. do you guys reccommend? what should i look for when purchasing a car cover for the 01 cobra. the car is spotless and i plan on keeping it that way. it will have to due without a garage for a few months so a good quality car cover is in need.

tell me what you guys use and what you would reccommend. thanks.

www.calcarcover.com

Their shop is just down the street from me, but you can order on line.
Best damn covers I know of; I have one on mine.

P.S. Here is the link directly for a 2001 Mustang Cobra. I got the superweave.

I have been using the Noah cover for almost five years now and it's a great outdoor cover to use all year long. Thick and breathable and not too heavy to store. This cover is the only thing that has been protecting my car from the elements. I suggest buying a car cover bag and a anti-theft kit. I bought these from here, I especially like the bag, they used the same Noah fabric to make it. They also have the specs of the Noah cover . http://www.properautocare.com/carcovers.html
Also, get an antenna grommet to prevent the fabric from stretching from repeated installs and removals of the cover. Easy to install and costs five bucks here http://store.cal-mustang.com/cm_able/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=2755&CATID=20

I recommend a cover that has a FLANNEL underside.
The noah, Evolution 4,etc...etc.... scratch the paint over time. I use to co-own a detail shop, and the only thing we used was the Wolf "cotton-flannel" cover.
It's a beige denim-like cotton on the outside and is surprisingly waterproof and the underside is soft as a diaper (flannel)

If you're a freak like me......use one of those cotton-flannel custom fit covers and add the cheapo $60 tyvek cover on top of it if it will sit outside more than a few days.

This combo will block out rain, make only the very lightweight (and easy to clean) tyvek cover get dirty, so cleaning of the cotton-flannel cover is minimal.
This will breathe easily and not scratch the car (as long as the car is CLEAN)
Of course, you should never cover a dirty or dusty car.

We have the California Car Covers NOAH covers for both of our cars. Reasonable price, great fit and very protective. I would highly recommend them.
