I was getting off an exit ramp and braking and my car died tonight out of the blue. What would cause that? I was going like 50-60mph when it happened. anyone have a clue what this could be????
how many miles are on your car? its happened to me twice scared the livin 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' outa me my brakes locked up and almost hit car infront of me. only happend once though, thank god.
mine did it a couple of times also..... Only when i was coming to a stop w/ the clutch pushed in... happened at about 20-25k miles... now i got 32k and it has'nt done it since...
my car did this twice also. once when it was fairly new, and once after i had it stored over the winter. did any of you not drive your car for a while before this happend?
Maybe you are having a problem with vaccum. I would suggest getting a bigger brake booster vaccum reservoir, kinda like an old refrigerant tank from pre-r-34a days. Thats what I used on mine when my brakes would go to the floor. Could be a different problem if it is "Brake Lock", and not brake loss. Hopefully this might help you, because nothing good can come from no brakes.
